I first became aquainted with miracles in my early twenties when God began bestowing upon me His Divine action for life saving purposes. I remember especially one instance, actually my first recognition of miracles, when a gang threatened my life. I knew I was fighting against great odds when the phone rang at work and I was warned of great danger awaiting outside when I got off. Immediately I reached to a God I had not known and placed my faith in Him.

Knowing then I was safe, I walked out of my place of employment in the midst of the night unafraid. I knew deep in my heart that I was protected and safe. A coincidence? Perhaps many may believe, but this gang was known to steal, kill and destroy. Miraculously, I was never haunted or bothered by the likes of my aggressors again.

That was the introduction of God's Divine intervention. The awakening of something extraordinary from beyond. It was the magnificent birth which began straightening my beaten path and crooked places, and smoothing the rough and rocky roads. Alas a way was prepared before me, and amidst dramatic changes I found something truly worthy of living for.

Looking back in retrospect on my hedonistic years, I see that in spite of all the love affairs I had with the world, it was all in vain. I was merely an object of scrutiny, given way to the passions and god's of this present age. It is truly a miracle, the grace, the favor of God in which He intervened.

Yes, I still believe in miracles, but more than miracles I believe in a Spirit Who beyond words loves His children irrevocably. And He will stretch out His hand to you too once you gain an understanding unto the Divine's purpose for your life.

While recognizing there are many problems facing the world today that need attention, surely we need miracles to rid them from our lives. Only via miracles can we return to the Garden of Eden and eat freely everything in it. The lovely garden that God made beside a river with parks and orchards and planted in them all kinds of fruit trees. Where He made great works and built houses and planted vineyards. A garden created for us to look about and gather lilies and eat what we produce, and dwell there with friends. A place where the garden Fountain streams with living waters, and green shoots go forth and sprout choice vegetation, and yes, this garden God planted in the east and today it still remains.

Okay, so you probably think at this moment that I searched after the wind and fed on it, but God said it in His Word so I received it as my own. You too can reach this land of paradise, but only when you let go of all negativity, place your trust in God, and let your walls come tumbling down. Yes, you too can make for yourself pools of water from which to water your garden and make the trees bud. But first it is necessary to learn how to receive miracles so you can remove the darkness that prevents your garden from growing.

Now I would like to ask you, what would you like to accomplish? Or do you find this question difficult to answer because you feel a desolate loss by continual failure? Do you believe you can function to the best of your ability? Or do you feel deprived in certain areas of your life?
